The lodge itself was warm and cozy, with a charming bar area where our dogs were welcomed with open arms - they especially loved running around the spacious field nearby. the breakfast served each morning was delicious and made with care. The apartment we stayed in was well-equipped with modern amenities, including a washing machine, flat-screen TV, and an electric kettle. the private entrance added a touch of privacy that we appreciated, and the garden views were simply breathtaking. We also made good use of the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a refrigerator and oven. Being just 70 km away from Bristol, we were able to explore the surrounding area easily, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. the addition of a barbecue on the property allowed us to enjoy the outdoors even more, making our stay truly memorable. I cannot wait to return to Country View Lodge for another relaxing getaway - it truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you to Patrick and his team for their exceptional hospitality - we will definitely be back again!
